A company leader in the world of luxury fashion is looking for  1 KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER TRAVEL RETAIL EUROPE  for the Beauty Division, based in Milan.

ABOUT THE JOB
Excited by the unique perspective the Travel Retail channel gives on our Global customer, the Key Account Travel Retail will own building and flawlessly executing a consistent and thorough strategy for Europe/ME. Reporting to the Director, you will collaborate closely with Travel Retail Customers across the region alongside internal functions to drive distribution and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and flawlessly execute a consistent and thorough Travel Retail strategy for the area alongside partnering with Sales functions colleagues to ensure it is complimentary to the Domestic strategy
• Develop collaborative partnerships with Travel Retail Customers across the area to negotiate and implement the Europe/ME Travel Retail sales strategy and achieve annual Sales and Profitability targets
• Manage Joint Business Plan negotiations with Customers, closely track performance and lead implementation of correction plans
• Drive negotiations with Customers to ensure optimal distribution, locations and NPD launches
• Manage investments and full P&L for the Travel Retail business
• Strong collaboration with internal functions (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain etc.) to ensure delivery of the Travel Retail strategy
• Partner with Marketing function to plan and execute annual Brand plan per Customer
• Drive training and engagement plans with Retail teams to ensure they are passionate and effectively champion Dolce & Gabbana Beauty
• Own building, reporting and tracking of key sales figures, including annual budgets, sell-in/sell-out performance, monthly POS forecasts and stock levels
• Work closely with Customers and Retail teams to ensure consistent and excellent Retail execution across the region
• Closely manage supply and shipment plans with Supply Chain function to ensure alignment to annual Marketing and Sales plans
• Build on close Customer and Market proximity along with data insights to support development of incremental business opportunities

Work with Headquarter guidelines to:
• Develop optimal solutions between Global Practices & Regional/Local needs for best business outcomes
• Develop sales, allocation, and promotional spending guidelines for each door.
• Assign goals to each field team member and supervise the progress towards their achievement.
• Ensure Sales & Profit Targets are met as per budgets

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• University Degree
• 5+ years’ experience managing Travel Retail Customers
• Beauty industry experience and strong affinity for Luxury Goods
• Deep understanding of the needs and dynamics of the Travel Retail channel from a Sales Development perspective
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills both internally and externally; ability to build connections, partnerships, and influence to deliver results
• Strong strategic planning skills
• Entrepreneurial with a ‘start-up mentality’, at ease working with ambiguity and within a lean support structure
• Passionate and motivated by delivering and tangibly seeing results along with a strong ownership mindset
• Highly competent in Sales fundamentals; planning, closely tracking performance, adapting and modifying, building recommendations and executing flawlessly
• Analytical thinker, comfortable managing and analyzing data
• Strong negotiating acumen
• Fluent in English (written and oral conversation)
• Knowledge of the Italian language will be a plus
• Flexibility to travel
